The 20 meeting of the World Muscle Society

During the 20 meeting of the World Muscle Society, which took place in Brighton (England) from September 30th to October 4th, our researcher Caroline Le Guiner has presented durin an oral session some encouraging results about the systemic treatment of Duchenne Muscular Dystrophy dogs using an AAV vector carrying a µDystrophin sequence.

Presentation title : “Adeno-associated virus vector (AAV) microdystrophin gene therapy prolongs survival and restores muscle function in the canine model of Duchenne Muscular Dystrophy (DMD)”.

After this presentation, Caroline Le Guiner had the honnor to receive a price from the President of the World Muscle Society, for the best presentation on the treatment of Duchenne muscular dystrophy.
